Worship is not a scheduled event. It is an authentic love encounter with God. It isn't just a song set to begin a church service, worship is a lifestyle. If our worship is only during the music, then it is not God we worship, but the music. We worship God because of Who He is, not for what He does or does not do.
If authentic, our worship will never be conditional, circumstantial, situational, nor emotional. We must give everything to Jesus in the good and in the bad; otherwise it becomes meaningless, fickle, half-hearted lip service at best.
