God created man innocent from the beginning - pure and holy. However, sin entered the world through willful disobedience, causing all of mankind fall from their holy nature. In as such, there is nothing of ourselves that we can do to stop nor escape the motion of sin. Thus the need of a Savior - Christ Jesus.
He alone can redeem us from the curse of sin and by His Spirit, we can once again participate in His divine nature, while escaping the sin and corruption in this world caused by lust. According to the Word of God, salvation is:
Faith in Christ Jesus
[Faith is the beginning, not the ending]
Genuine Repentance
[Eradication of sin, not excusing or justifying sin.]
Water Baptism
[Immersion, in the name of Christ Jesus]
Infilling of the Holy Ghost
[With the evidence of speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance.]
Intentional and Direct Obedience to the Word of God
[Living a holy life, as the Holy Ghost enables.]
