The Scriptural mode of baptism is - by immersion in water, in the name of our LORD and Savior: Christ Jesus, for the remission [forgiveness] of our sin, which is in the direct obedience and observance to the Word of God.
It is only for those who have fully repented [turning away from their sin and love for this present world] and dedicate themselves to live in accordance with God's Word. It is an act of obedience, as commanded by our LORD, Christ Jesus and parallels His death, burial, and resurrection.
